The brewer, his halal beer and a potential fortune

Muslims the world over could soon be enjoying a chilled pint of non-alcoholicsweet German Weissbierbeer, if Gerhard Kamil has his way.

The Bavarian brewer’s Mr Kamil’s GranMalt outfit, based in the sleepy town of Bergkirchen, 16km north of Munich, has developed alcohol-free granules which that make instant beer. – and it tastes a lot better than it sounds. (And it tastes better than it sounds.) He believes his the easily transportable beer granulesproduct, with theirincredibly its long shelf life, could be another Germany’s next export miracle. “My dream is that one day soon beverages everywhere will have my GranMalt label on them.”
